Job Summary
State Monitoring Unit Program Coordinator position in Lincoln, NE, within the Nebraska Department of Labor. Responsible for monitoring programs under WIOA and other related programs, auditing WIOA workforce development components, and supervising a Labor-related compliance program tied to Unemployment Tax. Roles include coordinating projects across divisions, assisting with reporting and KPIs, researching grant opportunities, and applying federal and state laws, rules, and regulations to program operations. Expertise in monitoring, compliance, grant management, and instruction in public administration or related fields is required or preferred; candidate must have a valid driver’s license and pass a federal background check. On-site position with regular Monday–Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework/training in: public or business administration, human services, social/behavioral sciences or closely related field OR Three years’ experience in a human services agency, organization, or program with responsibility for program planning and development, employment, job development and/or staff development or in the delivery of employment and/or training services. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
