Job Summary
The State Manager for Northern California leads a team of Account Executives to enhance customer service and product adoption while overseeing compliance with state requirements. This role fosters high-level relationships with state agencies and dealer associations and drives the success of the Automated Vehicle Registration System (AVRS). Key responsibilities include coaching the team, managing workloads, supporting customer relationships, and presenting strategic insights. The position mandates strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, along with significant travel within the territory. Candidates must have substantial management experience and a robust understanding of customer relationship dynamics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of account management experience
- 3+ years of management experience in a customer‐facing environment
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within the Northern California territory
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation, and relationship‐building abilities
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a field‐based team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a focus on process excellence
- Proficiency with PC hardware/software, Microsoft Office, and basic troubleshooting
- Strong customer relationship skills
