Job Summary
Lead state-level program implementation in Virginia by coordinating partnerships with diverse community and state leaders to facilitate Resilient States programming aimed at mitigating political violence risks. Develop and deliver training tools for state leaders while representing CG-USA at high-level events and public engagements. Collaborate with national staff to design programmatic approaches, contribute to strategy development and OKRs, and manage state staffing, operations, and employee development. Oversee compliance with federal and state laws, monitor spending, and ensure adherence to donor regulations and safeguarding protocols. Manage subawards and resolve partnership issues while reporting progress to funders. Based in Virginia with occasional travel, this role requires deep knowledge of local civil society and a commitment to working across differences.
Required Qualifications
- Typically BS/BA
- minimum 11 years' experience
- Location: The candidate must be based in Virginia
- Standard work will take place remotely/at a home office, but will require interfacing and attending in-person events in state
- Occasional travel to other US locations will be required
- ability to travel in state at least 10%
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership position is highly desired
- Deep knowledge of and relationships with civil society and community leaders in Virginia
- Experience in broad-based coalition building is highly desired
- A commitment to working across difference to build a more peaceful and just America, and a commitment to CG-USA and Search values
