Job Summary
As a State Growth Lead, you will drive proactive growth strategies in high-priority states, build strategic relationships, and secure contracts with government agencies. You will collaborate with multiple teams at ICF, including subject matter experts and marketing, to develop a robust pipeline. Responsibilities include building a landscape of your assigned state, identifying pipeline targets, leading business pursuits, developing state-specific marketing campaigns, and closing new business totaling $20M+. Required skills include extensive public sector business development experience and knowledge of structured capture processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of business development or capture experience in the public sector, preferably state and local markets.
- 3+ years of experience using structured capture processes (e.g., Shipley, APMP, MEDPICC, etc.)
- Experience engaging with Florida state agencies or local government entities in Tallahassee is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APMP, CPCM) preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM and pipeline tools (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce).
