State General Manager of Sales
$140,000–$180,000 year
On-siteSydney, New South Wales, Australia
Job Summary
Own the NSW revenue number and budget personally at launch, running the end-to-end sales funnel from enquiry through enrolment while closing end-of-trial conversations yourself. Build and coach a team of sales representatives to carry the state's number unsupervised, then manage campus operations by rostering tutors, fitting out sites, and aligning class times with local school timetables. Handle local people and compliance matters, including classification, contracts, and performance management, while winning dated commitments from central teams on a shared scorecard. Manage site selection and leasing jointly with central leadership and treat re-enrolment as a core sales motion to build school and community relationships. This role requires a leader who operates primarily from a laptop to be misunderstood; you must be on campus most days, known by name to parents and students, with flexibility to work weekends during enrolment peaks. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 AUD plus superannuation. At Contour, we reshape education through tutoring ecosystems designed to help students master content faster and achieve their full potential.
