State Director for The DMV (35875)

Plan, develop, and direct services in Northern Virginia and adjoining regions while assuring adherence to SJCS mission, core values, and quality standards. Account for state programs, operations, and fiscal outcomes by developing annual and five-year projected plans, including budget development and monitoring. Lead all state operations and activities, ensuring superior quality through quality assurance activities and CARF accreditation maintenance. Cultivate internal and external relationships with individuals served, families, funders, regulators, and board members. Supervise, train, and mentor staff, including performance evaluations and recruitment. Act as a liaison to the state Board of Directors and advocate for change at state, organizational, and systems levels. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or human services, five years of administrative experience, and the ability to travel approximately eight times annually.
