Job Summary
State Carded RT Assistants in Midland, TX will support Level II NDE Technicians with radiography/NDT tasks. Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down equipment, performing routine and preventive maintenance, documenting services, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality procedures. Roles may involve operating radiographic equipment under supervision, maintaining surveillance of equipment, preventing unauthorized access, and facilitating communication with safety personnel. Must have a High school diploma or equivalent, valid State Card, and valid TWIC; able to travel occasionally and possess a valid driver’s license; reading technical documents/engineering specs is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to follow precise procedures and adapt to changing schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Card
- Valid TWIC Card
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments which requires occasional out of town and overnight travel
- Must be able to communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
- Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred
- Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures
- Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule
