Job Summary
Scout, evaluate, and qualify startups in robotics, electrification, hydrogen, AI-IoT, and ADAS domains across Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Build and maintain networks with startup hubs, accelerators, VCs, and founders to drive end-to-end collaboration from initial contact to technology transfer into SPF roadmaps. Facilitate administrative and legal processes with internal teams while translating opportunities into actionable proposals for internal owners. Track collaboration costs, progress, and impact, reporting regularly to OBR/BVI and RTC-AP. Contribute to OBR strategy and best-practice exchange with CR/BVI. Requires technical background in priority domains, proven relationship building in the Chinese ecosystem, and fluency in English and Mandarin.
Required Qualifications
- Technical background with solid understanding of at least two priority domains (robotics, electrification, hydrogen, AI, IoT or ADAS)
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships in the Chinese startup ecosystem
- Strong networking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in open innovation, technology scouting, PoC management, or startup collaboration (corporate or startup side)
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Intercultural competence
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with high execution focus
