Job Summary
Lead support for basic Startup Specialist duties including installation configuration validation, work package development, and test procedure preparation. Plan and schedule commissioning sequence activities, coordinate construction turnover walkdowns, and manage field purchase requisitions and quantity takeoffs. Perform system walkdowns to validate design compliance and monitor equipment testing to ensure conformance with specifications and safety protocols. Identify and resolve environmental safety and health issues while serving as a visible leader in field practices. Work a 4/10 schedule with Monday through Thursday hours from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Uranium Processing Facility in Oak Ridge, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma/GED and 12-14 years of relevant work experience
- In-depth knowledge in the areas of and knowledge of principles and practices related to startup testing and commissioning
- Good knowledge of related construction and engineering practices and the economics involved
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, and design criteria
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience preparing and presenting test procedures and reports
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
