Job Summary
Golf Course Starter positions offer hands-on customer service experience by guiding players to the first tee and ensuring a smooth pace of play. Ideal candidates should possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a friendly disposition. Responsibilities include providing information about the golf course, verifying revenues, supplying scorecards, advising on course conditions, and supporting management policies. Previous experience is not required, but a general knowledge of golf is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
- Must have strong customer/guest orientation
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable
