Job Summary
Golf Course Starters/Player Assistants provide guest services by guiding players to the first tee and controlling a smooth pace of play on the golf course. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional appearance, providing information regarding the golf course, expediting the check-in process for guests, verifying revenues through receipt inspection, and advising guests on course conditions. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, be organized, dependable, and enjoy working with the public. Knowledge of golf is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the game of golf preferred
