Job Summary
Golf Course Starters/Rangers provide guest services by guiding players to the first tee and controlling the pace of play on the golf course. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional appearance, providing information regarding the golf course and managing the check-in process. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, organizational capabilities, and a strong customer service orientation are essential for success in this part-time role. Previous experience is not required, making this suitable for beginners.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license (if driving golf cars or driving range equipment)
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
- Must have strong customer/guest orientation
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable

- Knowledge about the game of golf preferred
