START Coordinator (Mental Health Crisis Worker)

Job Summary
Assess, coordinate, and facilitate support for individuals, caregivers, and support teams to decrease crisis events and advance life goals. Conduct strength/needs/biopsychosocial assessments, develop individual treatment plans, and provide group and individual therapy. Deliver on-the-spot counseling and prompt crisis intervention, while transporting clients and families to appointments at various sites. Complete required paperwork, enter outcomes into databases, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Enlist community resources with direct input from families and make recommendations for clinical program improvements. Provide after-hours on-call coverage on a rotational basis.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Two (2) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 4 years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree in a relevant field and 2 years of relevant experience
- California driver's license
- Current vehicle insurance/registration
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call responsibilities
