Starlink Production Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Build small electrical sub-assemblies, assemble PCBs into product chassis, and construct battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays. Perform wire harnessing, soldering, and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components while supporting conformal coating and epoxy application. Conduct functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown. Operate complex automated equipment, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed. Support prototype development and assist in identifying, installing, and implementing test equipment for thermal, shock, and vibration regimes. Work all shifts, including 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, with overtime and weekends as required.

  • High school degree or equivalency certificate
  • 1+ years of hands on work experience
  • Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed
  • Estimated shift times: 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2 AM
  • Standing for long periods of time

  • Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted
  • U.S. citizen or national
  • U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)

  • Eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists
  • Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with electrical wiring
  • Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
  • Associate degree
