Job Summary
Shift Supervisor responsibilities include assisting the store manager with executing store operations during scheduled shifts, deploying partners and delegating tasks to ensure the Starbucks Experience for customers, maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards, managing opening and closing duties, delivering consistent quality beverages and food, ensuring effective communication with the manager and baristas, and providing legendary customer service with a customer-comes-first attitude while collaborating with the team to create the Third Place environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's Degree in Hospitality, Business Studies, or similar discipline
- Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment – 1 year
- Experience in a role that requires constant interaction with and fulfilling the requests of customers – 1 year
- Delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees – 1 year
