Job Summary
Starbucks Shift Lead at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts leads shifts and oversees store operations alongside baristas to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include assigning duties, coaching and developing team members, maintaining operational policies, ensuring world-class guest service, managing opening/closing procedures, assisting with inventory and promotional activities, and upholding health and safety standards. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of customer service, 1+ year supervisory experience, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with cash handling and POS systems. The role is full-time, non-exempt, located in Las Vegas, NV, and pays $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three or more years of customer service experience; preferably in a retail or food and beverage environment
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to supervise, coach, and mentor team members
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in handling monetary transactions and basic accounting principles and practices
