Job Summary
Lead Barista at Food City kiosk — deliver prompt, friendly customer service and quality Starbucks beverages and products while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Open/close kiosk operations with the store management team. Adhere to all recipe and presentation standards for beverages, whole bean products, and food items. Engage customers with product information, use suggestive selling, and provide tastings when appropriate. Handle cash transactions via POS, solve problems for baristas, customers, and the business, and ensure safety and food-handling policies are followed. Maintain a positive attitude, enroll in on-site shifts, and help the team achieve store goals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time and attendance policies
Desired Qualifications
- Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required
