Job Summary
Lead daily café operations for the licensed Starbucks location inside Macy's, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand standards while modeling customer connection behaviors. Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback to maximize performance, and monitor labor productivity to balance service needs with cost control. Manage inventory, ordering, and cash handling to achieve profit and loss goals, and oversee point-of-sale operations in accordance with company policies. Maintain a clean, professional environment and resolve customer concerns by partnering with store leadership and division managers. Full-time colleagues work 30+ hours per week, while part-time colleagues work 12-24 hours; all schedules include weekend shifts based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be ServSafe certified or have food handler permit as required by state or local health department
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
- Must be able to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Must be able to reach above eye level
- Must have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
