Job Summary
Demonstrate knowledge of drip coffee, espresso, and pastry stations while following Starbucks recipes and speed of service standards. Prepare and present freshly made beverages and food products, maintaining PAR stock levels and merchandising standards. Execute opening and closing checklists, verify completion with the Manager on Duty, and keep work areas clean per Health Department standards. Educate customers on menu items and apply Magic Selling skills to provide exceptional service. Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code while performing other duties as needed. Work weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
- Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours
- Must be able to stoop, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Must be able to reach above eye level
- Must be able to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Must maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with company, Starbucks, and Health Department standards
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
