Job Summary
Barista Trainer supports the Starbucks Manager in running an efficient, professional, safe and profitable Starbucks operation following all company standards. The role involves providing on-going training, feedback, coaching, and staff motivation to all associates; ensuring team prepares and presents drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso bar and pastry products to Starbucks standards; following merchandising, product presentations and signing standards; maintaining speed of service and food quality; upholding workplace safety and sanitation; utilizing forecasts and sales reports to help meet monthly profit/loss goals; assisting in ordering and inventory practices; and fostering an inclusive environment with colleagues and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years related experience
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
