Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, smile, make eye contact, and initiate warm interactions to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications while monitoring temperature-sensitive items and recording cleaning tasks. Execute food safety protocols, replenish inventory, and manage promotional signing processes across all food and beverage areas. Support the Drive Up process for digital orders, act as backup cashier, and handle order pickups. Maintain an inviting dining area and process damaged or recalled items according to best practices. Complete all required training certifications and adhere to federal, state, and local compliance standards for adult beverages. Work in a fast-paced environment with varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders if needed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
- Ability to work in environments that will include refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions; where common allergens may also be handled or present
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive-Ups, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
