Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, resolve shopping issues, and end every transaction with a sincere thank you. Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications while managing inventory, replenishment, and rotating products. Uphold food safety standards by monitoring temperatures, culling expired items, and completing cleaning tasks. Support the Drive-Up process, act as a backup cashier, and handle order pickups. Maintain an inviting dining area and ensure accurate pricing and promotional signing. Complete all required training and certifications related to quality control. Work in a fast-paced environment handling merchandise up to 44 pounds and operating handheld scanners.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders if needed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Ability to work in environments that will include refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions; where common allergens may also be handled or present
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive-Ups, carryout, etc
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shifts (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
