Job Summary
Demonstrate knowledge of drip coffee, espresso bar, and pastry stations while producing freshly prepared products following Starbucks recipes and speed of service standards. Follow Simple Service Steps and Magic Selling skills to educate, sample, and serve customers, ensuring exceptional hospitality through product knowledge. Maintain PAR stock levels, open and close areas per checklist, and keep work areas compliant with Health Department standards. Perform other duties as needed while adhering to professional dress code and hygiene requirements. Part-time colleagues typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week including weekends; full-time colleagues work 30+ hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
- Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with company, Starbucks, and Health Department standards
- All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements
Desired Qualifications
