Job Summary
The Barista will prepare and serve quality coffee and food items, engage with customers to describe menu items and upsell products, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean, organized cafe environment. Responsibilities include making a variety of coffee drinks, basic food prep, stocking and cleaning, assisting with on-site catering events, operating the POS/ALOHA system, ensuring proper safety and sanitation, and supporting team members to deliver friendly, efficient service during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of Barista experience required
- Strong food prep skills preferred
- Willingness to comply with strict dress code requirements
- Willingness to maintain personal hygiene and follow hand washing requirements
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to meet operating policies and standards
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and understand others, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
- Previous experience with ALOHA system or POS system is highly preferred
