Job Summary
Barista at Macy’s Starbucks station in Cincinnati (Kenwood Towne Center). Responsibilities include preparing drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso, and pastries to Starbucks standards, providing caring hospitality and exceptional customer service, educating customers on products, opening/closing duties, maintaining stock levels and equipment, and complying with health department standards. Requires ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends; typically involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and using a cash register. 1-2 years related experience preferred; strong emphasis on teamwork, accuracy, and guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
