Job Summary
Starbucks Barista at Food City Crossville, TN. Provide prompt service and quality beverages by taking orders, preparing and stocking Starbucks products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Engage with customers, offer product information, and use suggestive selling techniques. Process cash register transactions using POS, follow recipe and presentation standards, and adhere to food safety procedures. Maintain a friendly attitude and support the Food City/Starbucks culture and mission while operating tools and equipment per routine procedures and safety guidelines. Attend on-site shifts in accordance with time and attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required
- Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products
- Learn the ingredients that go into various products
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
