Job Summary
Prepares, brews, and serves coffee and other related products. Maintains stock levels and product quality by monitoring dates, appearance, and storage temperature controls. Adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating coffee and related goods. Promotes product sales through suggestive selling. Interacts with customers and supports a friendly, customer-service-oriented environment. Uses espresso machines and related equipment; learns systems and processes; works with fellow partners to maintain a team atmosphere. Requires ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays; safety-conscious with hazard reporting. Training provided on the job; minimum age 18; 21+ to drive per policy; Food Handler certification and Starbucks Barista Basics Training are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
- Six or more months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required
- Food Handler certification required
- Completion of Starbucks Barista Basics Training Program required
