Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while accurately making all drinks to Starbucks specifications. Maintain a clean and well-organized kiosk by stocking it with needed supplies from the backroom storage area and ensuring all counters and tables are clean for customer use. Leave the kiosk clean and ready for the next barista upon completion of your shift. Stay up to date with the latest product knowledge and successfully complete required Starbucks Initial Store Training (IST). Follow all company guidelines regarding product shelf life, proper cash handling techniques, and dress code while wearing a name tag. This medium work requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion, stand for extended periods, and use knives and other sharp instruments.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
