Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while accurately making all drinks to Starbucks specifications. Maintain a clean and well-organized kiosk, stocking it with needed supplies from the backroom storage area and ensuring counters and tables remain clean for customer use. Leave the kiosk clean and ready for the next barista while staying up to date with the latest product knowledge. Successfully complete required Starbucks Initial Store Training (IST) and follow all company guidelines regarding product shelf life, proper cash handling techniques, dress code, and name tag requirements. This medium work requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while standing, moving, and using sharp instruments for food preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to push.
- Ability to pull.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
