Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while accurately making all drinks to Starbucks specifications. Maintain a clean and well-organized kiosk by stocking supplies from backroom storage, keeping counters and tables clean for customer use, and ensuring the space is ready for the next barista. Stay up to date with the latest product knowledge and follow all company guidelines regarding product shelf life, cash handling techniques, dress code, and name tag requirements. Complete required Starbucks Initial Store Training (IST). This part-time, entry-level role involves lifting 60 lb. boxes and exerting significant physical force frequently while working on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
