Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while accurately making all drinks to Starbucks specifications. Maintain a clean and well-organized kiosk by stocking supplies from the backroom, keeping counters and tables tidy, and ensuring the area is ready for the next barista. Stay up to date with the latest product knowledge and complete required Starbucks Initial Store Training. Follow all company guidelines regarding product shelf life, proper cash handling techniques, dress code, and name tag requirements. Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while using knives and other sharp instruments. Requires good, corrected vision and hearing, with the ability to stand, kneel, and work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
