Job Summary

Mount and wire assemblies while calculating box and conduit fill, utilizing standard work instructions to complete builds according to electrical schematics and prints. Use hand tools such as drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers to cut wire and run seal tight, frequently reading a tape measure and maintaining a clean work area. Perform brazing duties only after on-site training, and execute lock out tag out procedures on energized jobs as required. This role operates in a clean environment with a 4-day work week from 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, including some Friday overtime. No mandatory weekend work is required. ESPEC North America partners in environmental and accelerated reliability test chambers, offering opportunities for advancement within the Standard Final Assembly Department.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Computer skills, including the use of tablet
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools
  • Experience with electrical wiring
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Ability to build using electrical, plumbing, & fabrication drawings
  • Regular physical attendance
  • Ability to read and comprehend multiple step instructions (in the English language), short correspondence, and memos
  • Close vision
  • Color vision
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Understanding of lock out tag out procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing
