Standard Cell Library Design Engineer

Job Summary
Design and implement combinational, sequential, and power-management circuits targeting Intel's latest process technologies. Perform parasitic extraction and optimization to achieve best-in-class power, performance, robustness, and density. Develop automation flows for library modeling, validation, quality checking, and reliability verification. Characterize libraries for timing, noise, power, variation, and generate front-end and back-end models. Build, validate, release, and support standard cell libraries for Intel product teams and Foundry customer design projects. This role supports the design of Intel's next-generation SoCs and utilizes leading-edge process technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Microelectronics, or a closely related field
- Experience in digital circuit design, including CMOS combinational logic and sequential element design and layout
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools in one or more of the following areas: Circuit simulation, Cell characterization, Logic synthesis, Place-and-route, Physical design verification, Reliability verification
- Scripting experience for design automation using one or more of: TCL, Perl, Python, csh (or similar)
- Experience working in a Linux environment and familiarity with common Linux-based development tools
- Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of work experience
