Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse while maintaining safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks safely and effectively
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control
- Experience in shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse setting
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking throughout the warehouse
- Attention to detail in fast-paced environments
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or crane operation is a plus
