Job Summary
Move product within warehouse and trailers using a stand-up forklift, handle and maintain inventory flow, and operate barcode scanners to ensure accuracy in shipping and inventory. Perform basic tag and paperwork functions for pallet movement and food safety traceability, while properly selecting, loading, inspecting, and sorting product per supervisor instructions. Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, safe, and orderly; report product quality issues, safety risks, and complete equipment checklists immediately. Work Thursday-Saturday 6pm-6am and Wed 12am-6am in a refrigerated warehouse, lifting up to 30 lbs. Requires forklift license, valid driver's license, and recent eye exam.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift License
- related work experience
- Valid Driver's License
- valid state ID
- recent eye exam (within 1 year)
- Ability to use a scan gun and calculator
- Basic arithmetic and math (counting) skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
