Job Summary
Move product within warehouse and trailers using a stand-up forklift, handle and maintain inventory flow, and operate a barcode scanner. Perform tag and paperwork functions to ensure pallet movement integrity and food safety traceability. Select, load, inspect, and sort product per supervisor instructions while assisting with daily clean-up. Report product quality issues, safety risks, and equipment status immediately. Complete equipment checklists and maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion. Shift runs Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6AM to 6PM. Requires a forklift license, valid driver's license, and recent eye exam.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift License
- related work experience
- Valid Driver's License
- valid state ID
- recent eye exam (within 1 year)
- Ability to use a scan gun and calculator
- Basic arithmetic and math (counting) skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
