Job Summary
Scan and deliver meat baskets to packaging lines using a stand-up forklift, reweigh baskets, and place them back into coolers. Complete audits of rework vats, wrap and secure them, and ensure correct basket rotation. Maintain a clean, sanitary work area while monitoring foot traffic and complying with forklift safety standards. Deliver supply boxes, empty pallets, and completed pallets to the shipping area, scanning and placing license plates as needed. Remove excess inventory and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
- Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less.
- Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Must have good hand and eye coordination.
- Must be able to work in a high-speed packaging environment.
- Must be able to work a minimum 40 or more hours per week.
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime, if necessary, including weekends.
- Must be flexible and able to work as needed.
- Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Prior experience operating a Stand-up Forklift preferred.
- Two or more years of related work experience is preferred.
