Job Summary
Grinder/polisher role focused on achieving a No. 4 sanitary finish on stainless steel for food-grade tanks, including grinding, blending welded seams to sanitary standards, inspecting surfaces, and safe operation of grinders and polishing tools. Requires 2+ years of stainless-steel grinding/polishing experience, ability to produce a true No. 4 finish, precision and independent work, lifting up to 50 lbs, familiarity with PPE and shop safety, and use of measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. Four-day work week, steady hours, and emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years stainless-steel grinding/polishing experience
- Ability to produce a true No. 4 finish consistently
- Experience blending welded seams to sanitary standards
- Strong attention to detail & ability to work independently
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Understanding of PPE & shop safety
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers & gauges
