Job Summary
Stagiaire en ingénierie de tests for Grass Valley: full-time internship in Production Engineering focusing on developing and implementing production test solutions for NPI, designing test fixtures, embedded test firmware, and diagnostic software; collaborate across cross-functional teams to develop the overall manufacturing test plan and associated technical documentation; tasks include developing, validating, and deploying automated production test solutions for PCBA, product, and system-level validation; create technical work procedures and reference documents; manage project task lists and schedules; maintain alignment with project milestones; bilingual environment in French and English; on-site 37.5 hours/week for 4 months.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an internship program and working towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or a related program
- Ability to do electrical and mechanical design required
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
- Experience with different broadcast audio and video interface formats and associated standards preferred
- Networking basics TCP/IP, Telnet, FTP, SNMP; basic network debugging desired
- Experience with RS232/RS422 instruments interfaces and related software tools desired
- Solid experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook; SharePoint, Confluence, Jira asset
- Software programming experience under Windows desired; embedded real-time SW development an asset
- Experience with SW revision control and bug tracking systems required; GIT, SVN, etc. an asset
- Experience with SolidWorks is an asset
- Stage sur site à temps plein (37.5 heures/semaine) pour une durée de quatre (4) mois
Desired Qualifications
- Baccalauréat en mécatronique ou programme connexe
- Expérience avec des interfaces audio et vidéo de diffusion
- Connaissance de TCP/IP, Telnet, FTP, SNMP
- Savoir utiliser SharePoint, Atlassian Confluence et Jira
- Programmation logique ou embarquée sur Windows
- Connaissance de SolidWorks (atout)
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement bilingue (francais/anglais)
- Compétences en conception électrique et mécanique
- Conception et validation de solutions de test de production automatisées
- Rigueur dans le développement de procédures et documentation techniques
- Gestion de tâches et calendrier de projet d’ingénierie d’essai
- Maîtrise des outils de débogage et de test (tests PCBA, produit et système)
- Connaissance des interfaces RS232/RS422
- Expérience avec des outils de contrôle de version et suivi des bogues (GIT, SVN, etc.)
- Bonne communication et travail d’équipe dans une équipe géographiquement dispersée
- Connaissance des formats audio/vidéo et normes associées souhaitée
- Expérience avec SolidWorks souhaitée
- Langues: français et anglais opérationnels
