Job Summary
Manage theatre events on a per-show basis by attending all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances. Liaise between student performers and artistic/production staff while creating and distributing rehearsal and performance reports. Record blocking and take notes at production meetings. Most rehearsals occur on weeknights during the spring semester, with some weekend days possible. Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of professional stage management experience. This fully in-person role at the Los Angeles campus offers a pay range of $28/hour to $35/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum)
- Minimum 2 year of professional experience in stage management
- Attendance at all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances
- Liaison between student performers and artistic/production staff
- Create and distribute rehearsal and performance reports
- Record blocking and taking notes at production meetings
- Availability for most rehearsals on weeknights
- Availability for some weekend days
