Job Summary
Assist game presentation staff in executing live elements including fan engagement, promotions, sponsorship activations, and mascot interactions. Prep, manage, and clean/store all props and materials used during games. Ensure pre-game, in-game, and post-game entertainment occur promptly and accurately. Relay information to the Game Presentation team regarding any changes to scripted elements. Communicate promotions and activities clearly to participants and verify correct prizing distribution. Assist in setup and tear down of all Condors Home Games. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the AHL schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable working in large crowds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work under pressure, following scripts and timelines, while being able to improvise as needed
- Schedule flexibility to work game nights; will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule
- You are outgoing and engaging
- You have the ability to, and you enjoy building strong relationships with external customers
- You are passionate about Sports and Entertainment
- You have strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure excellent customer care to both internal and external clients
- You have the ability to execute exceptional organizational skills in the face of tight deadlines and multiple demands
- You thrive working independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset
