Job Summary
Coordinate and execute in-game elements for Bakersfield Condors home games, including fan engagement, promotions, sponsorship activations, and mascot interactions. Prepare, manage, and store all props and materials required for the event. Ensure pre-game, in-game, and post-game entertainment occurs promptly and accurately, while relaying any changes or problems to the Game Presentation team. Communicate clearly with participants regarding promotions and activities, and verify that all prizes are distributed correctly. Assist with setup and tear down of home games, working independently in large crowds under pressure. Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable working in large crowds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work under pressure, following scripts and timelines, while being able to improvise as needed
- Schedule flexibility to work game nights; will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule
- You are outgoing and engaging
- You have the ability to, and you enjoy building strong relationships with external customers
- You are passionate about Sports and Entertainment
- You have strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure excellent customer care to both internal and external clients
- You have the ability to execute exceptional organizational skills in the face of tight deadlines and multiple demands
- You thrive working independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset
