Job Summary
Manage the approval process for P&WC supplier sub-tier declarations by validating documents against pre-determined criteria and following up with suppliers to clarify information. Support the Supplier Request for Information process by tracking internal stakeholder requests from engineering and drafting teams, providing signed responses, and maintaining project progress trackers and KPIs. Conduct process mapping to support non-product supplier management, rework Quality Management System procedures, and perform SharePoint administration tasks. Suggest and implement process improvements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship
- Ability to work on-site in the province where hired
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, operations management, or business administration
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written)
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
- Project management skills
- Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms
- Ability to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues
- Completion of a criminal background check
- Obtaining applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods
