Job Summary
Prepare, set up, tear down, adjust, repair, and maintain stage and theatre equipment including instruments, seating, lighting, and audio/visual equipment for rehearsals and performances. Responsibilities include assembling and arranging equipment on stage, loading and unloading it for productions, and performing maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience are required, along with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and follow safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with all stage equipment
- Awareness of safety at all times
- Ability to lift items weighing up to and including 100 pounds
- Good communication and concentration skills
- Ability to read and write English and to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
