Job Summary
Responsibilities include preparing, setting up, tearing down, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining stage and theatre equipment for rehearsals and performances. Essential functions involve assembling and arranging equipment and scenery, loading equipment for productions, and performing repairs. Qualifications require a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of experience, alongside knowledge of stage equipment and a commitment to safety. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and effective communication skills are also essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with all stage equipment
- Awareness of safety at all times
- Ability to lift items weighing up to and including 100 pounds
- Good communication and concentration skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
