Job Summary
Tourism & Operations Internship at the Lyon depot: You’ll be the friendly face welcoming guests and setting them up for road trips, handle front-office tasks (check-ins/outs, payments, upsell road trip extras) and support back-office operations (reservations alignment, camper prep, stock coordination, fleet logistics). The role emphasizes guest relations, sales, problem-solving, teamwork, organization, and hands-on maintenance/quality control duties to ensure campervans are ready for customers. Ideal for students or recent graduates in Hospitality, Tourism or related fields who are fluent in English, possess a work permit if needed, and hold a valid driver’s licence. Compensation is provided for internships, with opportunities for growth and potential integration into Indie Campers after the internship.
Required Qualifications
- Student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or related field
- Fluent in English
- Work permit (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s licence (manual and automatic)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to connect with people and work in international environments
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to handle hands-on tasks
