Job Summary
Screen applications for Guest Educators, contractors, and volunteers, verifying backgrounds through TxDPS and JDP checks. Manage data entry in the Munis system, maintain payroll records, and create statistical reports to track information integrity. Facilitate orientation for new staff, update training lists, and serve as a liaison between the district and the Guest Educator management vendor. Notarize documents, respond to employment verification requests, and assist with recruitment strategies and campus visits. Maintain physical and digital records while complying with state and district policies. This role supports the Director of HR and HRIS Operations in strategic staffing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong Microsoft Suite & Google Suite skills
- Notary Public Commission or ability to obtain upon hire
- Knowledge of state and district policies pertaining to Guest Educators and how they apply to primary job functions
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain digital and virtual files in an organized manner
- Ability to evaluate documents with close attention to detail
- Ability to analyze situations and data to make recommendations for improvements or solve problems
- Ability to effectively utilize and manage district personnel systems, spreadsheets, and database programs
- The ability to maintain confidentiality
- At least three (3) years of clerical work experience in a position with duties of similar responsibility
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

- Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required
- Ability to report injuries and incidents immediately to the supervisor
- Ability to be proactive in the ongoing efforts to improve and maintain workplace safety
- Ability to work in an in-person position
- Ability to work from home is not allowed unless approved by the Superintendent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with MUNIS and Frontline, preferred
- One (2) or more years of work experience in a public school district or HR, preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred
