Job Summary
Coordinate scheduling of Home Care Aides, Geriatric Care Givers, and LPNs for PACE participants, preparing four-week schedules and printing participant and aide rosters. Daily evaluate and adjust staffing to meet care plan requirements, covering call-offs promptly and tracking all incoming calls via department log. Process service changes ordered by the PACE Team, communicate shifts with nurses, managers, and families, and maintain accurate records on hours worked and absences. Report staffing issues, union grievances, and participant complaints to the Staffing Manager and appropriate leadership for resolution. Adhere to Union contract rules regarding overtime and staffing tasks while utilizing the computerized staffing program to support program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- ASA degree or LPN license
- 2 years experience with scheduling staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, in writing, or by computer
- Excellent organization skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to use standard office set-up including computers, copy machines, printers, etc.
- Walking 10%
- Standing 10%
- Sitting/computer 70%
- Lifting: 10%, up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- ASA degree or LPN license preferred
- 2 years experience with scheduling staff preferred
- Excellent communication skills
