Job Summary
Staffing Operations Manager at Institute on Aging (IOA) will oversee the day-to-day operations of Staffing Managers, lead caregiver-client matching and caregiver retention and engagement initiatives, and drive training and development programs to ensure high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include supervising Staffing Managers, mentoring caregivers, coordinating caregiver interviews, leading dementia care and person-centered care training, ensuring certifications and compliance, improving scheduling workflows, monitoring caregiver performance, and participating in the on-call rotation. The role requires collaboration with HR, Director of Home Care, and Client Services Managers to enhance client experience, drive retention, and track performance metrics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of leadership and 2 years of experience in staffing or client services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Equivalent experience in staffing, client services, or related areas will be considered
- At least 2 years of leadership or managerial experience required
- At least 2 years of experience in staffing, coordination, or client services in any industry required

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; CRM/database experience a plus
- Ability to mentor staff and lead training initiatives
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams (HR, Client Services, Operations)
- On-call rotation participation and coverage planning experience
- Attention to quality of service delivery and client satisfaction
- Data tracking and reporting capabilities
- Problem-solving and independent decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience in healthcare or home care settings highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care and person-centered care approaches
- Strong customer-service orientation and client-caregiver relation skills
- Experience with process improvements and best practices in service delivery
