Staffing Development Coordinator - RN

Job Summary
Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and maintain a high level of patient care. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nursing staff to improve patient outcomes. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of our nursing staff, including new hire orientation and continuing education. Collaborate with the education team to design and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of our nursing staff. Monitor and report on staffing metrics and identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare organizations to ensure a steady supply of qualified nursing staff. This role reports to the Director of Nursing at the Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Alabama
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
